Gapscope

Beta Privacy Notice

Effective August 7, 2026

Who is responsible

Tyler Enlow-Gance, doing business as Gapscope operates the Gapscope beta. The licensed advisor or firm decides which client records to enter and why. Gapscope handles those records to provide the service for that advisor.

What the beta collects

Advisor records may include account details, licensing details, firm branding, contact information, billing status, application portal settings, support messages, and activity records.

Client planning records may include identity and contact details, household information, income, assets, debts, insurance coverage, retirement facts, limited health and tobacco answers, planning choices, and case activity. The beta is not designed to collect Social Security numbers, bank or routing numbers, medical records, prescriptions, or detailed diagnoses.

The service also receives ordinary technical records needed to keep it working and safe, such as sign-in, request, error, and security events.

Why the data is used

Gapscope uses the data to run the fact finder and presentation, save the advisor's work, send invited-client messages, provide support, process billing, secure accounts, investigate errors, and keep an audit trail. The current beta has no targeted-advertising or data-sale feature.

Who helps provide the service

Gapscope uses service providers for hosting, database and account access, email delivery, payments, file storage, and AI features. Those providers receive only the information needed for the task they perform. When an advisor chooses an AI coach or support feature, text needed to answer may be sent to the AI provider. Do not place client secrets in the support chat.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a business transfer. The beta does not give client records to carriers unless the advisor deliberately starts an approved handoff.

Choices and requests

An advisor can correct many records inside the app. To ask for access, correction, a portable copy, or deletion, email help@gapscope.io. A client should normally make the request through their advisor, who controls the client file. Gapscope may need to confirm identity and authority before acting on a request.

Retention and protection

Beta records are kept while the advisor account is active and as needed for security, dispute, audit, and legal needs. A fixed production retention schedule has not yet received final approval, so features that depend on that approval stay off. Access controls, encrypted connections, and encryption for selected sensitive fields reduce risk, but no online service can promise complete security.

Children, changes, and legal review

Gapscope is for licensed professionals and is not offered directly to children. A dependent's information may appear in a client plan when the advisor has authority to enter it. Material changes to this notice will be posted here with a new effective date.

This beta notice still requires counsel review before a broad public launch.
